If you follow our articles in Photo Pro or have been on our business courses you’ll hear us talk endlessly about how important it is to make good solid business plans and monitor your business cash flows. A fabulous reporter from the Sunday Times recently interviewed me wanting to find out how we have managed to significantly grow our business during a recession and today the resulting article was published in the Sunday Times business section. Last week the picture desk sent a lovely photographer called Dwayne who had great fun playing with us in our studio. Funnily enough the picture they chose to use was the ‘joke’ one that we did at the end of the shoot. Groan;-) You can read the full article on the Sunday Times website here. I would love to hear your own thoughts, hints and tips about how to survive the recession and grow a successful photography business. Comment away.

I love it! Nice picture James! I also enjoyed the article. As you know I did the business, sales & marketing course before Christmas with Boggio High, and I am already starting to reap the benefits. It was worth every penny for me! Hope your new students this week will enjoy the classes as much as I did!
I think the article is brilliant, not enough small businesses concentrate on cash flow and predictions. I think there is a bury your head in the sand mentality that is obviously not helpful. Well done James and Julia, you are an inspiration.
